Last May 27, 2009, we went to check out the beauty of Agutayan White Island in Jasaan, Misamis Oriental. That was really one of the best summer that ever happened in my life. The place was so small yet very peaceful. The water was so clear and the sand was so fine.I believe that there are big number of Kagay-anons who are still clueless about the island. So if you're just from Misamis Oriental, don't be left behind...Grab the opportunity to experience the beauty of Agutayan White Island.
We're almost at Agutayan White Island...That's the only house that stands near the island and was intentionally built for the watchmen or the "Bantay Dagat" of the island's marine sanctuary.

When we're finally get there, the island was almost covered with water since that was already around 11am. Since there's nothing in there that would shelter you from the heat of the sun, you really have to bring with you a tent or a big blanket/cloth and some straw strings and make your own mini-tent.
Afer an hour or two, the sand started getting visible as you can see in the photo.
