All God's testings have a purpose,
Someday you will see the light;
All He asks is that you trust Him,
Walk by faith and not by sight.
-Zoller
Why other people can't accept failure and put others the blame? Why is it others share their love so selfishly? Why do some needs to steal while others got plenty to feed in their mouths? Why all these happening?
Have you ever remember asking yourself with one of those why's? If not, perhaps in some other way. It's true that God wants us sometimes to meet a few wrong people that would deprive and make us breakdown and cry. He sometimes aggravates our life like it's hard to make a stand but our faith and strength will lead us for survival.
Those dolorous words depict on how the book, "Heaven" was all about. Written by one of the world's bestselling authors, V. C. Andrews. The same author who gave us "Flowers in The Attic" and "Seeds of Yesterday" among others. If ever you got mixed up if why is called "Heaven" , that's was actually named after the main character in the story or make it Heaven Leigh Casteel. I like the name, so unique.
Indeed, that was my very first time to read a novel at a young age of 11. I used to ignore that book 'cause my very first impression was the other way around from what's inside it. I thought it was a scary one 'til my older sister told me the real story behind it. Since I'm more fascinated with a family/drama story so i checked it out and ended it with no regrets. Since then, I learned to appreciate reading books and even brought me to embrace the beauty of writing.
The story merely moved me by the sight that's because of the passion and creativeness that lies in the hand of V.C. Andrews. It was really an extraordinary and heartwarming story. My most liked part of the novel was when Heaven and her siblings struggle to fight for hunger and leaving their father with no option but sold them like chickens. Very heart crashing, indeed.
I'm inviting you to read and join Heaven's journey on how she survived the world of deprivation, hatred, hunger, love, and forgiveness. The book is quite old but i believe there are still available on some bookstores. This is actually a series but this is the best part and I'm quite sure that once you start reading this you can hardly take off your eyes on every page.
I'm hoping that the story will be put into life in cinemas so more people will get to understand why I'm sharing this. And it's really the greatest story to tell.
